We’re a family of four in a tiny town in the Northwest US. We have two wee ones, my daughter who is 10, and my son, who is 6.
For this next year, I will be homeschooling my son, Tommy. We are ambitious and doing a kindergarten/first grade curriculum in one year. We’ll see how it goes, I hope you’ll join us for the ride.
If you’re wondering why this is a secular homeschooling blog, check out my post here:
Why a secular homeschooling blog?
To get hold of me for any reason, feel free to email me at homeschooledyear@gmail.com
Reviews of secular homeschooling curriculum will be starting shortly, as will giveaways. I also do reviews for items that fit in with our family, and will have a focus on products for the 6-13 age group, because there seems to be a void in that age group for product reviews! I bet you can’t wait!

Just wanted you to know that we have a new episode about mushrooms coming up on MEET ME AT THE CORNER, Virtual Field Trips for Kids (www.meetmeatthecorner.org).
Right now we have a great show up about composting and building a worm bin!
