Sadly, sign ups have closed for this year. If you feel like you signed up, and haven’t heard back from me yet, please leave me a comment ASAP.

Every year we have so much fun with our Christmas card exchange, that I’m actually excited for Valentine’s Day in January.

This is open to international addresses, so there is a possibility of getting someone on your list that is from outside of the US, which I think adds to the fun. When I sent my Christmas cards to England and Spain, it only added 15 cents to the total, as a reference for cost.

Each family will send one card to each family on their list, with the option of including individual cards for each child.

Details:

  • Cards can be hand-made of course, and can include other treats such as stickers etc. if you choose.
  • They obviously need to be appropriate for a mix of families/ages.
  • You’ll get the same number as you send out, approximately 10-12.
  • If you blog, include your URL, so we can stop by to visit!
  • Deadline to enter is January 29th, addresses will be sent out by February 1st.
  • Cards need to be mailed on or before February 5th.
  • This is not just open to homeschoolers, it is open to any family. But if you have homeschooling friends, do please pass it along!
  • If you would like to send an extra card to us (if we’re not on your list), I’ll be featuring the cards here on the blog and will keep an online map of all the cities that have joined in the exchange.

To join in the fun, submit your information on the Homeschool Valentine Exchange 2010 questionnaire. I will not share your information with anyone outside of your Valentine exchange group. I will NOT use your information for personal gain, or nefarious purposes. I promise.

Personally, we’ll be making a Valentine for each family, and including a store-bought one, because my son is WAY excited by the Star Wars Valentine’s at the store. We’ll start making our cards ASAP. I’m really looking forward to this, and hope we can all have some fun, meet some new people, and discover some new blogs.

Let me know if you have any questions! Again, to enter, click here to fill out the Homeschool Valentine’s Day Exchange 2010 survey.

  15. We’ve gotten most of our Valentine’s already and they are fantastic. We put them on a map, too. This has been a terrific experience for our little ones.
